What are the check-in and check-out times?

If you arrive earlier or need to depart later, please contact us in advance—we'll do our best to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs based on room availability. Luggage storage is always available if your timing doesn't align perfectly with these hours.
What breakfast options does Hotel Ranque offer?
We offer a thoughtfully curated continental breakfast featuring fresh pastries from local boulangeries, quality coffee prepared on our La Marzocco espresso machine using beans from La Cabra Coffee, yogurt, seasonal fruit, and artisanal preserves. Breakfast can be added to your booking at a reasonable daily rate. We accommodate dietary preferences including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and can assist with kosher and halal options upon request. Many guests also enjoy exploring the exceptional breakfast scene at Marché d'Aligre (3-minute walk) and the neighborhood's specialty cafés.

Do you accommodate special dietary requirements for breakfast?
Absolutely. We provide vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free breakfast options as standard. For kosher or halal requirements, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance so we can source appropriate items from specialized local suppliers. Our specialty coffee corner staff are knowledgeable about ingredients and can guide you through available options each morning.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our standard cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival are charged one night's stay. For non-refundable rates (which offer a discount), cancellations are not permitted. During high-demand periods or special events, different policies may apply—these will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast is not automatically included in the standard room rate but can be added for a reasonable daily fee at the time of booking or during your stay. We serve a continental breakfast featuring fresh pastries from local bakeries, quality coffee from our Specialty Coffee Corner, yogurt, fruit, and other items. Alternatively, many guests prefer to explore the neighborhood's excellent cafés and the Marché d'Aligre for breakfast.
Do you offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, complimentary luggage storage is available for all guests. If you arrive before 3:00 PM or need to depart after 11:00 AM, simply leave your bags with our front desk. This allows you to explore Paris freely without carrying your luggage. Storage is secure and monitored.
Is there a 24-hour reception?
Our reception is staffed from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. Outside these hours, we provide a self-check-in system with detailed instructions sent via email before your arrival. If you have an emergency or urgent need outside reception hours, we have an on-call phone number available. The system works smoothly, and most guests find it convenient and easy to use.
Do you offer airport transfer?
We can arrange private airport transfers to and from Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly airports for an additional fee. Contact us in advance with your flight details, and we'll coordinate a reliable driver. Alternatively, public transport is excellent: RER B from CDG to Gare du Nord, then metro to Bastille or Ledru-Rollin. From Orly, take Orlyval + RER B or the Orlybus. Total travel time is 45-60 minutes depending on the airport.
Is there parking available nearby?
We do not have on-site parking, but there are several public parking garages within a 5-10 minute walk, including Parking Bastille and other facilities near Gare de Lyon. Street parking in the neighborhood is metered and can be challenging during busy periods. We generally recommend against bringing a car into central Paris, as public transport is far more convenient for exploring the city.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes, Hotel Ranque is equipped with an elevator that services all floors, making it easy to access your room with luggage. We also have accessible rooms designed for guests with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure your comfort.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we welcome well-behaved pets. There is a small additional cleaning fee per stay (typically €20-30 depending on the size of the pet). Please inform us in advance if you're traveling with a pet so we can prepare your room and provide recommendations for nearby parks, pet-friendly spots, and veterinary services if needed.
Do you provide laundry service?
Yes, we offer laundry and dry-cleaning services for an additional fee. Items dropped off in the morning are typically returned within 24-48 hours depending on the service. There is also a self-service launderette (laverie) about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel if you prefer to do your own laundry.
Is Wi-Fi included and how fast is it?
Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the hotel and in all rooms. Our connection is suitable for video calls, streaming, and file uploads—many remote workers and business travelers rely on it for full workdays. If you experience any connectivity issues, please contact the front desk and we'll address it immediately.
Do you offer any discounts for longer stays?

Can I request a specific room or view?
Yes, you can request a specific room type (Solo, Couple, Family) and indicate preferences such as courtyard-facing for extra quiet or street-facing for views of Avenue Ledru-Rollin. While we can't guarantee specific room assignments until check-in, we do our best to honor requests based on availability. Let us know your preferences when booking.
